Perceived self-efficacy as a predictor of digital achievement in rowing

The study aims to explore the predictive power of perceived self-efficacy on digital achievement among elite rowers in Iraq representing their clubs. The researcher employed a descriptive correlational-predictive method on a sample of 65 athletes. Perceived self-efficacy was measured, while digital achievement was assessed through three tests: 2000 meters, 500 meters, and 30 minutes. Data were analyzed using SPSS with multiple statistical techniques, including Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA). Results revealed that perceived self-efficacy has a predictive capacity for overall digital achievement, explaining 49% of the shared variance in performance. Furthermore, this psychological variable proved to be a decisive predictor for each of the three tests individually. The study concluded that perceived self-efficacy is a crucial psychological resource that significantly contributes to determining the level of digital achievement among elite rowers. It recommended adopting strategies that enhance self-efficacy within psychological preparation programs for competitions
