The effect of the Bayer strategy on learning to perform the discus throw event for second-year students in faculties of physical education and sports science.

The research aimed to identify the effect of the Bayer strategy on learning the discus throw performance for second-year students in the Colleges of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. The researcher hypothesized that the Bayer strategy influences learning the discus throw performance for second-year students, and that there are statistically significant differences in favor of the experimental group. The researcher used the experimental method with two equivalent groups. The researcher defined the research population as second-year students in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Diyala, totaling (348) students. The sample was randomly selected from two sections, and then (31) students from each section were selected to form two groups: experimental and control. The researcher also defined the pilot sample as (10) students from the same two sections, excluded from the research sample. The researcher concluded that using the Bayer strategy influences learning the discus throw performance. The researcher also made several recommendations, including the necessity of using a modern method in teaching physical education and moving away from the traditional methods used. After that, the researcher implemented the educational units for (8) weeks, at a rate of educational unit per week. After obtaining the results, the researcher processed them using the statistical package (SPSS). After analyzing the results, the researcher reached conclusions, the most important of which is the effectiveness of the Beyer strategy and its impact on learning the effectiveness of the discus throw for second-stage students in the colleges of physical education and sports science.
