Abstract

The research aims: - To prepare a set of special exercises and to identify the effect of these exercises on developing the strength characterized by speed for handball players aged (14-16) years and to find out the rate of development in the strength distinguished by speed for the control and experimental research groups.                                                                

The research assumes: There is a rate of development in strength characterized by speed for the control and experimental research groups, and there are significant differences between the pre- and post-tests of the control and experimental groups in strength characterized by speed in handball, in favor of the post-tests and in favor of the experimental group.                                                                                                   

    As for the research sample, it was chosen intentionally, represented by players from the Canaan Youth Forum for handball in the Diyala Youth and Sports Directorate, who numbered (30) players, aged (14-16) years, in a deliberate manner. The research sample was divided in the form of matched pairs into two groups (control and experimental), each group included ( 13) players representing (9.61%) of the research community.
