Abstract

The research problem was a clear weakness in motor fluidity and trajectory accuracy among learners in the early stages of learning. The research aimed to identify the effect of trajectory guidance exercises with the foil, as well as to identify the superior group from the two research groups.

The researcher used the experimental method with two groups (experimental and control). The research community consisted of third-year students from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Al-Qadisiyah University, while the research sample consisted of (30) students, who were divided into two groups (experimental and control).

The researcher incorporated trajectory guidance exercises for some offensive skills (straight, slashing, and cutting) into the educational units for the experimental group, totaling (6) educational units.

The researcher concluded that trajectory guidance exercises with the foil had a clear and positive effect on learning some offensive skills. The experimental group clearly outperformed the control group in the post-test results, reflecting the effectiveness of trajectory guidance exercises in some offensive skills with the foil.
