Difficulties in using and implementing the Web Quests strategy in teaching from the perspective of faculty members at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences

The study aims to identify the difficulties faced by instructors when using and employing the Web Quests strategy in teaching from the perspective of the instructors of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul.
The descriptive method using the survey approach was adopted. The research population included the instructors of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul for the academic year (2025–2026), whose number reached (148) instructors. The research sample consisted of (86) instructors, representing (58%) of the research population.
The research instrument included the preparation of a questionnaire entitled “Difficulties of Using and Employing the Web Quests Strategy in Teaching.” The statistical methods used were (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, hypothetical mean, and one-sample T-test). The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program was used to process the data statistically.
The researcher reached the following conclusions: There are difficulties in using and employing the Web Quests strategy in teaching by the instructors of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul.
-There are difficulties in technical and administrative support due to the limited material and technical resources, including devices, and electronic tools related to the internet, and their occasional unavailability in the educational environment.
The researcher recommended that instructors must keep pace with technological developments by increasing attention to digital culture and its connection with educational technology, enhancing their interaction with it, and practicing electronic technologies to the best of their ability to develop their skills.
