The Effect of Competitive Exercises on the Fatigue Index of Basketball Players Under 18 Years of Age

Abstract

The study aimed to prepare competitive exercises in the fatigue index for basketball players under (18) years old, and to identify the differences in the results of the first pre- and follow-up tests of the experimental group in the fatigue index for basketball players under (18) years old, and the researchers used the experimental method with one experimental group with the help of an experimental design with a test (pre-test, sequential, post-test) on the sample of (10) players of the North Oil Club under (18) years old, and the development of the fatigue index, as the group underwent the experimental method using competitive exercises for nine weeks At the rate of (3) training units per week, after processing the data using the appropriate statistical means and through the results achieved, the researchers were able to reach a number of conclusions, the most important of which are: that the competitive exercises worked to develop the fatigue index of basketball players under (18) years old, as there was a noticeable improvement in the tests (sequential and post-intensive), and that the two interval training methods (low and high) intensity used in the application of competitive exercises in the training units contributed to the development of the fatigue index and showed a significant decrease.
