The research aims to identify the effectiveness of an educational program according to the overlapping of scheduling a fixed and random variable exercise in learning some types of shooting in basketball. A random sample of students of the second stage in physical education school at Soran University was selected for the academic year (2021-2022). The number of (24) students was divided into two experimental groups, each group consisting of (12) students.
The researcher used the experimental method for its relevance to the nature of the research, and there was homogeneity between the two research groups in the variables (age - height - weight - and some influential physical and motor abilities) and parity in some types of shooting in basketball. The researcher used some statistical methods through the (SPSS) program such as (arithmetic mean - standard deviation - percentage - T-test for linked samples and T-test for unrelated samples) and the researcher reached the following conclusions:
- The results showed that there is a positive effect of using the fixed random exercise scheduling overlap in learning the skills of (shooting from jumping, shooting peacefully) in basketball.
- The results showed that there is a positive effect of using the random variable scheduling overlap in learning the skills of (jumping, peaceful shooting) in basketball.
3. The second experimental group that used the variable random exercise schedule overlap achieved better results than the first experimental group that used the fixed random exercise schedule overlap in skills (shooting from jumping, peaceful shooting)
