Developing an Organizational Citizenship Scale for Employees in Kirkuk Governorate Youth and Sports Forums

The study aimed to construct a scale for Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and to identify its level among employees working in Youth and Sports Forums in Kirkuk Governorate. The researchers adopted the descriptive approach using the survey method due to its suitability to the nature of the research problem. The research population consisted of (240) employees. The construction sample included (148) employees, distributed into a pilot sample of (15) employees and a statistical analysis sample of (133) employees, while the application sample consisted of (83) employees. In addition, (9) employees were excluded because their forums were inactive. The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) was used for data analysis. The results revealed that the employees demonstrated a good level of organizational citizenship behavior through their commitment to job duties and cooperation in implementing various activities and events. The study recommended adopting continuous evaluation and follow-up methods to enhance the work environment within Youth and Sports Forums.
