يهدف البحث تعد تجارب النجاح والفشل في مجال الرياضة من الدوافع المهمة التي لها تأثير بالغ الأهمية على المستوى الرياضي وعلى مختلف المستويات في السباقات الرياضية لتحقيق النصر وتحقيق أفضل النتائج. تنتج تجارب النجاح والفشل عن عمليات نفسية متعددة تؤثر على شخصية الرياضي بالكامل ، لذلك تتحدد مشكلة البحث الحالي من خلال تجربة الباحثين في هذه اللعبة ، يتعرض العديد من لاعبي التنس لمشاكل نفسية قد تؤثر عليهم. مستوى الأداء وأثناء المنافسات الرياضية. قد تكون هذه المشاكل نتيجة قلة الوعي والاهتمام بتجارب النجاح والفشل. لهذا السبب يحاول الباحثون معرفة قيم هذه المتغيرات ، والوصول الى الحل المناسب من خلال دراسة تجارب النجاح والفشل لدى لاعبي التنس في اقليم كوردستان - العراق .
