Building the Administrative Competency Scale of the Iraqi Central Basketball Federation for Clubs Participating in the Professional League

Abstract

The research aimed to build the scale of administrative competencies of the Iraqi Central Basketball Federation, and to identify the level of administrative competencies of the Iraqi Central Basketball Federation, and the researcher used the descriptive method in a survey method in order to suit the nature of the problem, the research population identified the members of the administrative bodies of the clubs participating in the professional basketball league for the sports season (2024-2025) of the Iraqi Central Basketball Federation, which are (110) members representing (11) clubs with (10) members for each club, and a construction sample was formed The scale consists of (60) members from the total research community of (110) individuals, while the sample of the application of the scale reached (50) members, and the researcher conducted the scientific steps to build the scale, which consists of (40) items distributed over five fields, and to reach the results, he processed the data through the statistical program (SPSS), and the researcher reached a number of conclusions, which are that The Iraqi Central Basketball Federation obtained an average level of administrative competencies, according to the opinions of the members of the administrative board of the clubs participating in the professional basketball league,  the Iraqi Central Basketball Federation obtained an intermediate level of the areas of the administrative competency scale, that the levels of the members of the administrative board of the clubs participating in the professional basketball league do not meet the ambition and are not satisfactory.
