Abstract

This study aimed to identify the effect of an educational-learning program based on the Pfeiffer and Jones Experiential Model on selected fundamental futsal skills among students. The researchers employed the experimental method using a design of two equivalent groups with pre- and post-tests. The study sample consisted of second-year students from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Samarra during the academic year (2025–2026).

The experimental group was taught according to the Pfeiffer and Jones Experiential Model, whereas the control group was taught using the conventional instructional method. The educational program was implemented over a period of 67 days, with one instructional unit per week, and each unit lasting 90 minutes.

The results revealed statistically significant differences between the pre- and post-tests in favor of the post-tests. Furthermore, the experimental group outperformed the control group. The researchers concluded that the educational-learning program designed and delivered to the experimental group according to the Pfeiffer and Jones Experiential Model demonstrated effectiveness and a positive impact on the dependent research variables represented by selected fundamental futsal skills among students.
