The effect of motor coordination exercises on the level of defensive skill performance in handball among third-year female students at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences

Abstract
The research aims:
- Preparing motor coordination exercises and their effect on the level of defensive skill performance in handball among third-year female students at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences/Tikrit University.
The researchers used the experimental method with the design of the experimental and control groups with pre- and post-tests for its suitability and the nature of the current research. The research population consisted of female students from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences / Tikrit University for the academic year 2022/2023. As for the research sample, it was chosen intentionally, and they were female students of the first stage. The third is in the College of Physical Education / Tikrit University, and their number is (38) female students. (8) female students were excluded due to their lack of commitment to the exercises, so that the sample number was (30) female students. They were divided into two groups and each group included (15) female students.
The researchers used the statistical program (SPSS) to process the data.
The researchers concluded that motor coordination exercises have a clear effect on defensive movements on the 6m line
The researchers recommended conducting research and studies on other skills and attributes on male and female students or players
