The effect of repetitive training on a number of specific physical and functional variables for fencing players
Main Article Content
Abstract
The research aims to do the following:
1- Detecting the effect of repetitive training on a number of physical and functional variables for fencing players.
2- Identify the differences between the pre- and post-tests in physical and functional variables.
The experimental method was used due to its suitability to the nature of the research, and the research sample consisted of 18 players from the Diyala Fencing Club. The experimental program was applied in repetitive training for 8 weeks at a rate of two units per week. The researchers used the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test for related samples, and percentage of development as statistical means.
1- The researchers concluded that there are significant differences in all functional variables subject to the research (heart rate, respiratory rate, maximum oxygen consumption).
