Emotional energy and its relationship to reducing boredom during physical education lessons for middle school students
Main Article Content
Abstract
The research aimed to identify the level of emotional energy among Preparatory school students during a physical education lesson, as well as identifying mechanisms for reducing boredom among Preparatory school students during a physical education lesson, as well as identifying the relation of emotional energy among students with reducing boredom during a physical education lesson. The researchers relied on the descriptive approach using the survey method and correlational method. The research population was identified with Preparatory school students in the schools of the Kirkuk Governorate Center for the academic year (2023-2024), who number (15,123) students. Who belong to (32) Preparatory schools. The researchers randomly selected (636) students from the research community to form the research sample. Then the researchers divided the main sample into three sub-samples (the exploratory study sample, the preparation sample, and the final application sample), whose number of individuals is (16, 372, 248) respectively. To collect the required data, the researcher prepared two scales. the first measures the students’ emotional energy and the number of its items (10), while the second measures the reduction of boredom and the number of its items (10), and after processing the data statistically through the following means (percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, simple correlation coefficient, alpha-Cronbach equation, t-test, simple linear regression equation).
