Abstract

The study aimed to build a scale of (electronic sports media), and to identify the level of (electronic sports media) for the players of the Iraqi professional football league from their point of view. The researchers used the descriptive approach with the analytical survey method to suit the nature of the research problem. The research community consisted of the players of the Iraqi professional football league for the sports season (2024-2025), numbering (484). Players distributed across all Iraqi professional football clubs represented (100%) of the research community, as the construction sample included (340) players from the Iraqi Professional Football League, and they were chosen by a simple random method (lottery) at a rate of (42.70%) of the total research community, and (25) players were excluded due to the non-arrival of their forms at a rate of (16.5%) of the total research community, so that the construction sample consisted of (315) Players were distributed as follows: (15) players representing the exploratory application sample, representing (0.93%) of the research community, and (300) players representing the construction sample, representing (0.98 61%) of the research community, and the final application sample represents (144) players from the Iraqi Professional Football League, representing (75.29%) of the total research community. The researchers used statistical data through (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, percentage, t-test for two independent samples, Pearson’s simple correlation coefficient, and Cronbach’s alpha coefficient). The researchers reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which are: 1- Electronic sports media enhances the popularity of players and improves their sporting and social standing, their image, and their personal brand. recommendations, the most important of which are: 1. Granting professional football players broader powers to enable them to interact with the media in accordance with specific administrative and legal principles, mechanisms, and regulations.
