هدفت الدراسة في التعرف على رد الفعل البسيط والمركب وعلاقتهما بتركيز الانتباه لدى لاعبي سلاح الشيش ، وقد افترض الباحث وجود علاقة ذات دلالة معنوية بين رد الفعل البسيط والمركب وتركيز الانتباه
واستخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي بالأسلوب المسحي لملائمته وطبيعة البحث ، واشتملت عينة البحث على طلاب السنة الدراسية الثالثة في كلية التربية البدنية وعلوم الرياضة ، والبالغ عددهم (185) طالباً وطالبة بواقع (135) طالباً (50) طالبة ، في كلية التربية البدنية وعلوم الرياضة جامعة الموصل . للعام الدراسي (2021 - 2022) ، أما عينة البحث فقد تكونت من (30) طالباً ، وتم استبعاد الطلاب الذين تمت عليهم التجارب الاستطلاعية وعددهم (6) طلاب من مجتمع البحث الخاص بالذكور. وبعد التأكد من صدق وثبات وموضوعية الاختبارات تم معالجة البيانات التي حصل عليها الباحث احصائيا باستخدام الحقيبة الإحصائية (spss) (الوسط الحسابي ، الانحراف المعياري، معامل الارتباط). وقد استنتج الباحث وجود علاقة ذات دلالة معنوية بين رد الفعل البسيط والمركب وبين تركيز الانتباه للاعبي سلاح الشيش في رياضة المبارزة . واوصى الباحث بضرورة تطبيق برامج العمليات العقلية المتعلقة بالفعل الحركي للاعبي سلاح الشيش والأسلحة الأخرى
